EASY HARD DISK PARTITION ON WINDOWS WITHOUT SOFTWARE

Partitioning hard disk c: on windows 8 or 7.
You may have been looking for a way to partition your hard disk for different purposes or looking for softwares to partition your hard disk. Here, I am going to be teaching you how to carry on the steps without download or using any software.

STEPS

* Go to your start menu and search 'DISK MANAGEMENT' or 'CREATE AND FORMAT HARD DISK'.
* Open the application
* Inside the application, you will see a box name 'DISK 0'. There are different partitions and volume inside this 'DISK 0'.
* Look for drive C which is NTFS File system. this drive is where all your files and windows files are saved. so be careful with it.
* Right click on this drive C and choose 'Shrink Volume'.
* You will be shown a small window where to enter the size you want for you new partition and click 'shrink'. Note that the size you choose must be less than the shrink space.
* A new allocated space will be created and you will find it under the list of spaces in DISK 0.
* Right click on this new allocated space and choose 'New Simple Volume'.
* You will be shown a small window to enter the size of the partition again, drive letter, File system (e.g fat, fat32, ntfs) and finally the new drive label.
* Click 'Next' and Click 'Finish'
* The new partition will be formatted automatically and created.
* After that, go and check your file explorer/computer to see if it has been truely created.

This is a tutorial to make you increase the action speed of your PC. You might have detected that your pc is not running smoothly and has been doing things slowly unlike before.
There are many software you can download for 1-click maintenance on your computer like pc doctor, tune up utilities and Pc speed e.t.c
Downloading and installing these above softwares may waste a lot of your time and may also be expensive to get.
But I'm going to show you how you will increase the speed of your pc without installing any software. The tool we will be using is already on windows system.

STEP 1: DISK CLEANUP
This helps to clean up your local disk c: from different unwanted hidden files.
* Navigate to 'computer' or 'File explorer'
* Right click on your LOCAL DISK C: and choose 'properties'.
* Inside the 'properties' box, click 'DISK CLEANUP'
* so simple. Choose the files you like to cleanup and continue by clicking ok.

STEP 2: CHECKING DISK ERRORS
This helps to check errors in your local disk c:. This reason for your pc slow speed may be caused from errors on your hard disk so this a good step too.
* Under the LOCAL DISK C: properties box, navigate to 'tools'
* Under tools, you will see 'check' button. Click it to start your checking.

STEP 3: OPTIMIZATION/DISK DEFRAGMENTATION
This is the best step of all. If you have been using a pc for over four weeks, it is very possible for parts of your hard disk space to have been fragmented. Fragmentation is one the major causes of slow speed action on PC.
Here we are going to be optimizing the system by defragmenting the pc.
* Inside the 'tools' navigation in the LOCAL DISK C: properties box, click the 'optimize' button.
* You will see a dialog box to choose the drive to analyze and optimize.
* If you like to analyze the amount fragmented, click the 'analyze' button and if you like to optimize instantly and directly, just click on the 'optimize' button.

After performing this three steps, you will notice that your pc is now on high speed operation. NO MORE SNAIL-LIKE WALK! NO MORE TORTOISE-LIKE WALK on your PC action.
